Anybody has any idea how I can get back USDT sent to a fraudster?

I don’t mind paying some percentage of the money I lost but I just need help urgently.

I got contacted to start a freelance job earning from home by performing specific tasks that’s how I have lost €7k.

Can’t believe I fell for this because I was looking for money to pay rent , now I’ve gone from bad to worst.

What happened bro? What did he ask you to do?

If you think this post is legit, you have been scammed. The poster will soon come with another account and post some whatsapp of a scammer that "helps" people recover crypto. All scams

Hell No!!!
Please don’t do this when I’m genuinely looking for help.

I’ve seen a lot of post on here like that and I refused to click them because I didn’t want to be scammed twice.

How do
Report to police
how do I even start that .
The process might be long and hectic and with no guarantee. How did I do this to myself?

They asked me to sign up with them and did a training which I was paid for.
Then asked me to perform some tasks by reserving some hotels. After reserving my reservation fee is returned with some bonus attached to it. Then you perform another task and so and so. And oh you can’t withdraw until you complete a round of 20 tasks.
The strategy is to keep you paying because at the end of the task you get your initial deposit with some bonus fee.
It was all little amounts until two days ago when I started with this little amounts and couldn’t go back because I had to make a 4k order , I was wandering how we moved from €60 to €4k, I couldn’t withdraw the money I already put in and they insist that I had to finish the 20 tasks !

These scammers target so many job seekers and there might be more victims like you. Better to report it and let them deal with this.

No body will be able to help you without some evidence, you can claim many things on the internet today, but the reality is different.
When I have try to sell some secret ideas to domainers, they may think I m scammer but I have allot of evidence to provide, not talking about a copyright registered in US and other things. Only remain to register some TM's for more security.

No job or employment offer should ever require you to pay money upfront.

That's your first clue that it's a scam or shady at best.

Unfortunately, with USDT you are just about screwed. If you made the orders with a debit or credit card, you could report fraud or call the police.

You’re not getting your money back. Consider it an education cost. Don’t do it again. Things could be worse, you could have a portfolio of new gtlds

Yeah, it comes with territory in crypto.

If people want decentralized, it basically means you are just stuck with the loss in most cases.

It doesn't have the same protection as something like a credit card transaction, where you could just file a dispute.

Hopefully a valuable lesson is learned.

Sorry you were a victim. I saw a similar case recently on tiktok. A young unemployed guy fell for it, borrowed thousands from friends and family, lost all of it. At least he was sharing, not for sympathy or donations, but to warn others.

Like others already mentioned, take it as a lesson. I don't think Police will be able to help, maybe just to update their crypto victim records.

did you create new account to report the scam?

don't you aware that no one can undo usdt txn's!

wake up and move on.

Using your own funds (or exhausting/spending beyond what they paid you during the "training" phase) for those company-related tasks/reservations you mentioned: that's Risky AF and is a definite red flag.

(This post, followed by a couple more on the forum from someone claiming to have been helped with this exact problem -- seems Scammy AF, for some reason...)

OP, nobody can recover your money, move on, take it as a lesson.

Hopefully, mod can close / clean up these crypto related scam threads.

Wtffff!
Is wrong with the internet today ?

I came across name pros because I was searching for reliable ways to regain my money. Aside that it seemed like a useful platform for my career as a PM.

I can understand people being weary , afterall I’ve just been scammed.

But please nobody should call me a scammer without even asking for evidence.

I won’t do that!

I’m just here for ideas. Wasn’t necessarily confident I’d get one.

The problem is there is no easy way to recover the funds.

Basically every crypto recovery service is also a scam. The same people often get scammed twice, by trying to recover the initial loss.
