.mobi How’s your site Google-ing?

Just thought it would be interesting to see how any of your mobi sites are doing in regular google search results. I’ve been keeping an eye on my 2 live sites and have seen them moving up in results.

The good news is, I’ve seen Pizzaz.mobi go from the 8th page of search results of “Pizzaz” to #9 on page 1 of results. That’s good, but how many people are looking for pizza search when they search for pizzaz? When I google Pizza Search, I’m lost in the crowd. Don’t even know what page as I gave up looking after page 25. Not too impressive. Now, if I search “Mobi pizza search”, I’m #1, page 1.

My other site, onfly.mobi, is getting these results:

“Onfly” with no spaces- #1, page 1 (3 weeks ago, same search landed my site on page 5)

“on fly” with space and “mobile search” - Lost in the crowd...gave up.

“on fly mobi”- Interestingly enough, a namepros thread is listed near the bottom of page 1, yet my site is listed on page 4

The bottom line is, it seems as if I’m having mixed results. If people are generally searching a term, my sites, at this time, will not be found. They’ll need more tweaking, advertising and general “getting the word out” to be effective.

Understood and appriciated...but I was looking for results from what most people are using now. the main google search. I feel, at this time, this is the most relevent

For RxD.mobi, When I type in "RxD" it shows up on the average of 11-14 on the main google search under the name "Find Pharmacies" (special thanks to Vcool) And yesterday I was on the first page of the google search at number 9. And 2 weeks ago I was around the mid 20's for just seaching the Rxd and before that I was around the 40's. But Every day I keep moving up just with the generic type in as RxD.

Today I went to Mstart.mobi and RxD showed up as number 1 (I was excited)

Also I typed in "Pharmacies" on Mstart.mobi and it also showed up as number 1.(Really Excited) All I can say is that I am impressed and very gratefull that I started my .mobi site early.

And also I would love to thank everyone that put my link on there .mobi site, it really does make a difference.

I wanted to update my SE results, as I feel this will be a major portion of mobile traffic.

Now, I'm happy to see that searching "Pizza Search" (with 68.7 million results) has pizzaz.mobi on the bottom of page 1...

If you add "local pizza search", I'm now #1, page 1. Not too shabby in this crowded field.

OnFly still needs more tweaking. I'm aiming for good position in mobile search. As it stands, I'm only doing well with the limited "onfly" search. This will take a little time and effort, but I believe it will pay off.

My other live sites are also being tweaked. Just thought I'd give updates on the 2 I had posted originally.
