Maybe this should be in news, but it highlights some issues with the current abuse handling system(s) for domains. I'm not sure if the link will work for me, but they said this on Bluesky:

It's back up now, but highlights some of the difficulty for registrants with the current system for abuse handling where it's registrars + registries all interpreting their responsibilities differently. If there are 2500+ registrars and 500+ registries, that means registrants have (literally) about a million combinations of abuse handling that might be applied to their domain.
I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain
