It Strikes Me As Odd...

Here we are a large group of domain owners, yet virtually no one I've come in contact with uses an email address from a domain they own! Most use gmail or yahoo!

I use a gmail account primarily, but I also use two emails from my domains for private emails..

I agree, it does seem odd sometimes, but you've got to remember, though, most, if not all, own more than one domain, and alot of them plan on selling the domain in the future. I guess they remain "permanent" with Yahoo or Gmail, :imho: .

I will always use Gmail because I know (er hope) it will always be there, whereas I usually build sites up and sell them off, so those addresses would become useless.

Also, knowing that you have literally TONS of space makes it easier on the mind :] .

I just use my own email addresses, i need to change mine though now, as im no longer owner of sabre-hosting.com..

I find that alot of people that use hosting businesses use their own domain email.

You hit the nail on the head. I sell a lot of my sites, so normally the email addresses on the site just redirect to my Gmail account.
