Emailing potential buyers - What emailing system to use?

I had to send about 30 emails recently for a good single word domain name. All emails were hand edited to include the domain name of the potential buyer and how it is related to the domain being offered for sale. In the same time most part of the email body contained generic email pitch, common to all emails being sent.

Sightly after 20 individual emails sent my gmail account started to complaint that my sending seems like bulk messaging and basically refusing to continue to deliver those.

So my question is simple - what do you use to deliver the email messages about your domain for sale to hand picked similar domain/website owners.

Please do not consider this as "teach me to spam" request. The large number of the emails I needed to send in that particular domain case was due to nature 1-word domain name offered - I was trying to email anybody owning domain containing that word with a meaningful website on it, but gmail behavior have cut it short.

Looking forward for your replies.

Thank you

so this must be related to the manner in which you send your emails. If you dispatch with a very high frequency (e.g. several emails per second), that could be what triggers it.
nope, it was taking me probably at least 2min per email (that is checking the website, copying and pasting emails from whois, updating subject and message body). Several emails per seconds that would be nice :)

Then most likely 2 minutes is also too short. As I said I have no such problems or limitations on my gmail account and I think there was someone else early in the thread who said the same.

nevertheless, the question was Gmail refusing to send customized email to highly relevant end users after 20-25 message because of commonality in the message body, for those who don't consider it spam and emails end users - is there a better mailer to use (yahoo, hotmail?) or just stretch it over few days - how do you deal with it?

set up an email address from the domain, its not expensive and looks better

you mean still using google mail servers in mx records or via 3rd party provider?

Mail Merge with Gmail - labnol .org/software/mail-merge-with-gmail/13289/

I also find Yesware's service really handy in Gmail

I've been doing much the same process here and was really hoping the thread had more insight about other tools to use

Since I hate finding and developing the endless email lists. I just get someone to do it for me. Of course I send the emails but that's the easiest part. I found this Fiverr user "baby__jones", I know the name is silly but she is legit and does them for only $5. I would check that out. Just go to Fiverr and type in her username at the top.

So many people on here just wanna BASH at the first chance they get. Like they are the all mighty! Or they KNOW IT ALL! Or since they are X Years Old and have been doing this for X amount of years they "SURE WILL TELL YOU!!!!".
Get lost dudes.
So ridiculous.
Keep in mind, these forums are to help people, connect, network and keep the industry alive.
So many people just use these forums as a chance to "STRIKE" on another as soon as they can.
It's like they sit and wait around for it...
Dude asked a question. That is all.
If it is not your method, not how you personally work, not what you personally agree with, or you don't have an answer, don't comment.
Simple as that.

So dude...
Who cares if User A who comments, thinks that she just "knows" that buyers will just APPROACH if you have such a name. Buyers will approach if you have a worst domain than what you have. That's common sense.
That is probably why she is still on this thread and is most likely sitting on domains with no buyers.
Pursue Buyers like you are trying. Don't listen to her.
She blatantly stated she doesn't know Sales 101.
So clearly pay no attention.

And who cares if User B has Zero respect for spammers or herself. Great! Thanks for the... wait... no... thanks for assisting in me finding another useless contribution to our society.
Pay no attention to her. And who cares if she respects a monkey or thinks that she stated "Facts" lol.
Just remember that her opinion and existence means nothing to you.

So anyways:
Dude. To answer your QUESTION you posted for an ANSWER, not to have ignorant people put there 1/2 cents in.
Email Marketing is a good way to make sales. NO MATTER what the niche.
If executed properly, you can convert.
No one knows the Inbox Ratio you are going to get. So do not listen to anyone on this threads %. That was by far the most ridiculous "come up with a percentage" I have heard.
I've seen it go 1,000's of different ways when Bulk sending with Gmail.
If you send out your emails, just move at a slower pace. It is better if you reword the emails, instead of just replacing the name. Easier to get through the filters that way.
But still, your best bet is not to send out with gmail and to gather a good targeted list and use/find a good email marketer. There are a lot on WF and Blackhat world.
Email Marketing is a Whole Separate World from domaining.
There are countless amounts of factors that come into play.
And be sure to abide by the Can Spam Act "for the most part".

When it comes to your domain name.
Email companies, website owners. And continue to do so.
And hope it hits those users inbox just for the fun of it :)
Not every company knows to contact you for the domain name, not every company knows to find your "thread on namepros" or wherever the heck you advertised it.
And those who do, most likely have a better chance of low balling you anyway.
If you contact potential buyers/companies, you may be able to convert some of them, you never know. You have a better chance than you not sending them.
Especially with those who have the companies and do not know the first thing about who, where or how to acquire a domain such as yours.
Emailing Marketing is a great way to sell domains and basically any service.

Another good way when it comes to websites btw. Is actually filling out the contact form on their website.
This almost goes to the inbox every time. And if it doesn't, the website owners know to check their spam from previous experience when receiving website submissions of their on page contact form.

If you want, PM me and I can go through more with you.
Because I enjoy helping people.
