Although "Â" is not an official part of the Turkish alphabet, many, many words originating from Arabic contain that letter. "Â" is a longer sound than a normal "A". I would not be surprised if "ISLÂM" was a more phonetic and accurate way of writing "ISLAM".

Who knows if the auction is genuine?

There are a lot of rich Muslims and it is possible that one or two are willing to spend some "pocket money" on this domain. Will wait and see.

I think he's actually selling the IDN. If you go to WWW.ISLÂM.COM it says name for sale while www.islam.com is a huge website with no indication that it is being sold. If this is the truth, this will be the largest misunderstanding, I'm sure

Take look @ the bidding history pattern & timing! Only within 2 days 02/13 & 02/15 I never seen a bidding on ebay, that I remember, goes from $25 to US $986,697.63 in 2 days, especially when bying "domains" no matter how premium and top level, the domain is.

LOL. As if you didn't see that one coming a mile away. While even the real non-IDN is a good short name, it is definitely not worth anything near a million bucks. Anf the IDN is worth much less at this point. Or at least, not a million.

The seller only had one feedback. Do you actually think that someone who has a million bucks to spend would pay said million to a guy on ebay with virtually no feedback? I don;t think sol. Most rich people are brighter than that. They have to be. THe only millionaires that are not bright are the joe schmoes that win a lottery and ruin their life in every way by 5 years after the jackpot was one.

Being rich and maintaining it is not soemthing that can be won in a lottery for most people. it is something that must be planned and tweaked constantly. A lottery can only give you money. Shmarts comes from the brains and the DNA. That is why so many inherited rich folks get screwed. they only inhertied the money and have no idea of what money is, how to handle it, and how hard it is to come by. they have no concept of money accept to use a credit card.
