It's called Cryptojacking......There have been reports that certain types of this malware will not show a spike in CPU usage via Task Manager. This malware can often be detected by manually observing your CPU heat with all applications turned off.

I use Skype and it gets around 40-50% CPU. While Chrome gets 30-50%.
I have a celeron CPU so I don't think it will do any mining at all
