Is this means I've to wait 60 days to transfer to another registrar?

Hello,

Dear NamePros member, today I have a problem about transfering a domain from GoDaddy to another registrar which may want your inputs.
I've a .info name registered at godaddy which Domain Privacy, recently the domain by proxy just expired so I have change the contact info in Whois data to my name.
Is this means I've to wait 60 days to transfer to another registrar?
I'm not quite sure because in fact, the registrant is still the same people but the whois infos have change because the domain privacy have expired.
Anyone have experience about this case? Do you know that the .info registry count for the domain privacy whois infos change to the real registrant whois infos?

Correct, you have to wait another 60 days to be able to transfer out. This is godaddy for you, i have the same problem at the moment (luckly my 60 days are almost over) ...

Same problem with you. That is the a way of godaddy to prevent you to move out from them. Nice Job GoDaddy. I am waiting for the 60 days then i will transfer them to moniker. I got 5 more days to go

Well its not really bad thing or preventing the transfer, this policy is for domain owners safety. but it sux sometimes.

GoDaddy does this, no way around it. Some other registrars also do it. Supposedly it is to prevent unauthorized transfer and theft of domain names.

But 60 days? that's old school.

There are too many checks and balances in place to prevent unauthorized transfers and theft. I think it may be GoDaddy's way of hanging on to you for a while in attempts to sell you more value added services.

I have been a GoDaddy account holder for years and a reseller for 3 years. I am very impressed with the ease of use of many other sites control panels, hassle free transfers, and ease of "pushing" to other account holders.

GoDaddy recently changed the look of their site's control panel but did nothing to facilitate the ease of use, transfer, or pushing.

If I did not have so many domains between GD and my reseller account, I would be out of there for all the above reasons.

Its painful at times, but just one of the things you have to live with, or change registrars in the longer term,
