Is this a good idea?

I understand from reading on here the challenges of selling and finding the right domain to buy. I have about 40 domains and though I would like to sell them and make a good profit. I also don't want to sell them for $25 if I can make that in a few months off of adsense or affiliate links.

So is it a good plan to make a website with the domain name add adsense and affiliate links and topics. And also on the side list the domain name for sell. Or is it better to focus on one or the other?

Some of the domains that I have are

I doubt if any of these domains will make you much money parking them or selling them. Most of them wouldn't sell for regfee on NP.

Sorry and no offense but I guess only you who is interested in having these domains. I was in the same situation before. I threw hundreds of dollars to dozens of domains hoping that I can develop them someday. At the end of the day, I threw them all when no one was interested to buy....

There is no harm in trying. Yes, i would agree that they are not premium domains or good keyword domains however list them on Sedo or Afternic or other sites which sell domains or run auctions and see what response you get. If you have invested money and time in registering domains than i do not see why wouldn't you go a step further. On the other hand you can park domains too. Getting Adsense approval solely depends upon Google. You might or might not get approved for Adsense depending upon your site and its content. So, my suggestion would be to either list them on auction or park them and please do not keep your hopes too high. Good Luck!

Ok I understand that they do not have page ranks..organic search for those. But is it worth it to build up those domain names and then try to flip them?

Also are these worth working on?

Not really, those aren't much better. I think the one that has the most potential is freedecoratingtips.com. Write some articles, put some pretty pictures, and voila! You have a website. Just make sure to learn about SEO or you will likely not make a dime.

If you can find a buyer, sell them. In the meantime, just develop the ones you can and try to make money from them. Investors will buy your site if they see a revenue stream.
