Ok I already had an iPhone 3gs but when we were in a phone shop yesterday my dad let me look in them and I was showing him the samsung europa and he bought it for me(its android) so I was wondering is there much need?
Personally I think if we don't want to break Apple's EULA then there is because googles have a themes section but somewhere in it(forget exactly where) I came across a tweaks section ok so its needless to break android maybe Apple should take the same approach. But anyway back on topic is there need to have an iPhone and Android Phone I will be using both in future.

You need both if you are an app developer. Android is growing faster. I just love my android for the app called connectbot that lets me ssh and maintain my vps on the move....

I have a sony ericsson k810 maybe a bit old but i don't need any better atm.
I would say, if your an app developer get both if not get one. Both of them are good enough for most users so...
I don't need any extra bills and I don't need the latest in everything (i rather spend it on traveling)

I think if I had a dad that bought me anything I pointed at then I would get both too..

PS
Did anyone mention that textile has nothing to do with tactile?

Hard to report something OT in the break room. Its casual discussion which means I can pull your chain if I want to.. And I do! ;)

Ok I want to dictionary.com and checked the definition read this
texยทture
โ€“noun
1.
the visual and esp. tactile quality of a surface: rough texture.

oh did I see tactile there?I believe I did.I said I only like smooth texture if physical keyboard.
Read it and weep.
Anyway back on topic my dad doesn't buy me them.
My iPhone I got for free because I am with my network for years.

So when you said that Dave confused TACTILE with TEXTILE you actually meant to say that you confused TEXTILE with TEXTURE - neither of which mean TACTILE. In fact, not even the same part of speech.

I am not weeping; I'm crying with laughter.

So your phone comes with a free data plan?
