Hi everyone,

Is there any market for good keywords with .Ws extension ?

Is this worthless investing in the extension ?

Thanks

It has been treated as a gTLD for SEO purposes for years now.

Have tried selling top keywords (Offices, Commodities, etc.) without much success a couple years ago. With the onslaught of new extensions, it will be even harder for .ws to rise above the noise. I am also a bit concerned about the stability of the registry, given that unregistered domains are wildcard redirected to promote a dubious MLM scheme.

Try visiting any .ws that isn't registered. You'll see.

What SEO-purposes???
Google completely ignores all strings after dot.

By default ccTLDs are treated as geo-targeted towards the jurisdiction they correspond to by Google.
You can see this in the "Country Targeting" tab inside the Google Search Console.
Only if you are using a real gTLD, or a ccTLD that Google has deemed "global", you can change the geo-targeting here. Otherwise it will be the country you have used the ccTLD for.
