domain Is there a market for .be Names

Hello,

If someone could tell me if there is a market for .be extensions and how much they are worth.
.Be is extension for Belguim, but there are some nice domain left in Belguim.

So before i buy a few, maybe it is better to get more info, i also have insert a few names i like for premium domain, i want to ook what they say.

If you check at namebio.com we see there is only 1 recorded sale for a .be and that was for Poker.be - This doesnt seem to be a very successful ccTLD unless its in the very obvious top-notch keywords.

Doesnt appear to be any value in these domains.

In my opinion, .de is the best ccTLD - It sells very well and those Germans love their extension. You can see constant sales of .de names - more so then .eu or .mobi. I think its a worth while place to make an investment (aside from dot com)

Yes definitely but it is limited. Think of it as a market of 10mio inhabitants, which is small by American standards and average by European standards.

There is a market for good generic French and Dutch keywords. Some English keywords can be OK. Keep in mind that English is not an official language in Belgium. Many people registered tons of useless domains during the free promo last year. Do not think like an American when registering .be names.
Even a top keyword like 'loan' will have limited appeal there, if any (it's not a common keyword there and people are not familiar with it). 'Credit' on the other hand is good.
$$$ transactions are not rare.
However I am not aware of large sales (more than 4 figures).

It is true that the neighbouring .de or .co.uk are stronger TLDs. But there is competition too.
It is still an interesting ccTLD. I have a few and I would rather invest in .be than .bz for example.

because i think like na american if i buy domains ,and because in my country the sales of domain names isn't that hot. There are a lot of .be names left in the enlish langauage, so i thought ,maybe someone is willing to pay more for a one word domain name in enlish with an .be extension or not. but that is not how it works.

.be will hold the best value only for local Belgium? stuff. If you can tap into the latest local trends, you might be able to find some .be value.
