Is .SC worth it?

A seller was offering me some .SC names that included some with top generic keywords.

I was wondering whether these names worth it especially considering they cost US$300 a year just to keep in your name.

Of course it depends on the keyword and price they are selling for but I am just trying to get a rough idea on the demand for .SC domains these days and whether or not they are a waste of time and money.

They were about $50 last time I checked.

Idotz.net sells/registers them for about $50/year and I think dotster.com charges about (~) $35/year.

I think a few other registrars sell them too.

2. .SC as said stands for Seychelles

If it is a premium .sc and is not priced too ridiculously, I think it is worth the investment. Especially for SEO purposes.

Yes, some premium keyword domain worth it, but generally a risky investment.

I have some nice .in domains. I've yet to register a .sc, but I'd do it without hesitation for the right keyword.

I don't see the point of getting one this early.. (though it's nice for keyword grabs) I'd get them when they're more popular.
But since this domain's based on nationality I'd preferr leave this for others

it's a bit too steep for upkeep isn't it? it's 35 dollars just for registration as it is
