Hi guys, in your opinion, is parking dead?

Look at my last month screenshot, there are a lot of days with clicks and $ 0 revenue. 3 clicks and $ 0.01....

My stats:
CTR: 1.5% (LOL)
RPC: $ 0.01 (LOL! But only when I'm lucky! Otherwise 3 clicks $ 0!)
RPM: $ 0.11 (Seriously??? 1k user to earn $ 0.11? $ 0.11??)
Last month earning: $ 0.09 (LOL!!!!) .

I suppose I'll move away all my domain from parking companies and redirect them to sedo/uniregistry/afternic landing page.

This situation does not make sense.

pretty sure you can disable dnssec in your registrar's panel.. chances are there will also be a way to do this in bulk

Here is an example how it looks in a registrar (in this case OpenProvider):

tnx..yea sav has no bulk but others probably do..so I had like 6 names on sav..for months maybe couple years..that never resolved to bodis..so buyers never saw lander..

isn't this terrible? I mean tons of people must not know this.

is there some bulk check tool to see if names resolve?

Checking if names resolve is tricky. You must have a static address which you should inform the parking service that you will use for that purpose (so it should not be accepted as monetisable by them) and then find a tool that pings via https.

When you do that, you'll be surprised how many times domains do not resolve for various reasons :)

The worst thing however is when domains resolve but do not show any ads and, unfortunately, that's something that cannot be checked.. at least by us.

well but what about the simple case I mentioned..with explanation sav gave.
what if some names have some weird ds.records..from way back

those wont resolve..so if I had 6.. then I can only imagine other people.

I don't remember ever having any issues with dnssec so I can't relate I'm afraid. The only times I had names that didn't resolve were for completely unrelated reasons

so maybe another sav issue or bug? they have so many.. they claim these records were added by PREV registrars..nice blame game...and yet I never do anything besides change to bodis

wtf sav

cant believe I had 6 names.sit at sav not resolve for months...maybe year for.some.. that's money wasted..

okay..so.i got like 300 dn.sav.
...300 dyna...300 ionos..

how to make sure they all resolve?

try Cloudflare

1) use a domain that resolves
Cloudflare detects the needed nameserver settings automatically

2) use the same settings when you add the nonresolving names
( at Cloudflare )

at least next you know
the nameservers are not the issue
after you've done that

Hi

i've used many registrars over the years to park names, and have never had the issue you speak of.

guess sometimes, it doesn't pay, to use cheaper.

imo...

I agree but my point was I was not aware of issue
...and that others wouldn't be either.. so the only way u can say u never had this issue is if u checked if all yer names resolve. I didnt. most dont.

I had domains at netsol for 1 year
they never ever resolved

it just was impossible to make the nameserver resolve
guess where I will never ever buy a domain

true

but none expect or even know about this possibility ..therefore nobody check if all names resolve..

I came across this by pure chance ..after bodis and sav investigation there was some old ds record..nobody knows from where
...no one wants take blame..this is picture below..b4 I removed it..

Hi

many of the backorders caught by snapnames are registered by netsol
and i haven't had any issues there.

changed ns, for a name registered there two days ago and noticed visitor count at other ppc having those names servers.

perhaps you forgot to save the change?

imo...
