I always have minimum 20 auctions on my snapnames dashboard and he bids on all of them. His bids are always last second. Literally when the auction is about to be over, and he does it over and over again until he wins the name.

Its quite frustrating, I feel like I need to massively overpay to outbid him. I think he wins like 70% of auctions.

Anyone knows if its a company?

No. She is a real domainer.

Must be a rich domainer because they win many expired auctions.
A couple that I participated in over the last few months mesacinza was the winner.

They won ForwardCapital.com 3/23/2022 - $2,749

Then won FinanceJob.com 4/26/2022 - $1,900
mesacinza.com wins FinanceJob.com 7-31-2022.png

Nearly every auction I participate in they are in there bidding, and I only compete in a few expiring auctions per month. Can only imagine how much mesacinza spends on expiring auctions per year.

Mesacinza has a very large bankroll.

We are technically in a recession, but I haven't noticed a drop in aftermarket expiring auction prices at all.

Search on https://perfectdomain.com/

That domain you liked it is now listed for sale there.

Their site says they have 1M+ domains, that's a huge portfolio!

Lot of fantastic domains there. Many ultra-premiums. I have not seen this site before. Wonder what person or persons own this portfolio?

I thought it was @Gregr but I confused it with perfectname.com.

Whenever I'm in an auction with mesacinza - I make sure I spend a bunch of their $$$ by just driving up the bid way higher. At least I get a little satisfaction that way. :)

You may end up buying it Ken!

Mesacinza has deep pockets, anyone figured out if perfect domain is making lots of big sales?

True... but I typically get the feeling that mesacinza doesn't like losing particular domains.

Give us an example of one you were both bidding on, and what it went to in the end.

I typically go after the low hanging fruit domains so to speak. Ones where there is at least one legit company using a domain that starts with the domain that is dropping but their domain is longer or has a dash in it or a non .com... and unfortunately, the ones I go after - mesacinza is almost always also going after. I use the website upgrade lists (zfbot.com) that I built years ago to find these fairly easily.

The domain in question from last week was blique.com. Which at first glance doesn't seem like anything of value... but there's a Marriott hotel in Stockholm that is operating under bliquebynobis.se. Would almost certainly be pretty easy to flip it.

Anyway, mesacinza and I drove the domain up to around a grand... at which point, I just backed off because I was fairly confident that we'd be spending the next hour going back and forth and I wasn't willing to throw more $$$$ at it.

I'm in 2 auctions that are ending in the next 2 hours that mesacinza is also in... arrggg.

well - this time it was juming (also typical), moqc30 and anotherday that drove up padex.com to $3,122.00. mesacinza must be napping. :)

I was in that as well (solbur) but Mescazina and I went back and forth again with last minute bids on 4 other names. I now have 3+ years of compiled data to show the highly statistical improbability that a human is doing the bidding on the account.

I have contacted my lawyer to discuss filing a complaint with the FTC and am interested to see if a class action would be possible as I know there are thousands of others that have been impacted negatively financially from this bidding that is against SnapNames ToS that they continue to turn a blind eye to.

I'm about to start applying some pressure as I'm fed up with this shit and them not taking action despite the many reports.

Edit:

The amount of times I had it won then it was bumped in the final seconds was maddening. Then came others out of nowhere thanks to the dickhead at Juming bumping it

What's the issue? Aren't people allowed to bid during each 5 min interval? Does it matter if it is a script or a human? Only depends on how long they want to sit there if a human. I sometimes put it up $100 each time, saving my time.

You were never winning this name for 1666$. It's a free market and the free market valued it much higher

I was still in it at 2k+ as well, I'm just saying new bidders came in when the auction was ending every single time.

Regarding my other statements it's about my other posts in this thread. I have compiled head to head statistics across thousands of auctions with me and Mesacinaza and it's 10000% a bot. The timeframe between bids is identical every single time. He puts in a bid at the last seconds at min increment to extend it 5 mins even if he isn't the winning bidder. Then he does it again, and again, and again. I've spent hours going back and forth with him to prove a point and run up how much he pays for his domains.

It would be impossible for someone to spend their entire day at the computer bidding at the exact same timestamp on each auction, across several names. The ToS of snapnames bands automated bidding and continues to turn a blind eye to the reports of him. I am fed up and they need to be held accountable.

It's not fair that a bot can keep pushing out auctions for hours into the night and allow other bidders to find the names who previously wouldn't have been in the auction, or to extend the auction long enough that whoever is on the other side will eventually run into other obligations and no longer be able to watch the auction to see if he outbids you (which he will). I have tested this theory on thousands of head to head auctions and can say it's statistically improbable with data that it's a bot/script.
