question Is leadership.training a six figure domain?

What are your thoughts on this domain. It receives 15 uniques a day as well. Do you think a domain like this is worth six figures. Or is it better off to build and develop it into a business ?

It is definitely the kind of keyword to extension match that has potential. I don't see 6 figures for it, but it could be a high dollar sale to the right end user.

Try hitting up the Dale Carnegie folks and see if they have an interest. It is going to be much better used by an end user than by a domainer putting up a site just to build value. I think this is a case where development doesn't add a lot.

As a comparison, I have received two separate low $XXXX offers for Leaders.TV and have marketed it to relevant end users. A few expressed interest but none were interested in paying five figures for the name.

Leadership.Training is a rare nTLD that makes sense but again end users are going to be reluctant to pay big dollars for a name they don't need i.e. they already have a reg fee quality domain and generally are not willing to spend real money on a better one. The new TLD aspect will encounter considerable resistance as well. Regardless, leadership is critical to any organization - business, sports, non-profit.

Well, if the seller wants to hit the jackpot, then he will have to absorb the renewal fee for a long long time. This is called a trade off! In domain industry, anything is possible.

Note the .COM is held by an investor so the 2008 was not likely not an end user sale. Based on that sale however, I would not expect this nTLD name to sell in a domainer auction for much more than high $XXX. To an end user ten years from now it might be a five-figure name. In today's market there may be little interest except among investors.
