Is it so hard to leave a Trader Rating?

I know I am just complaining here but it has happened to me several times on here.What is the best way to handle it when someone doesnt leave you a trader feedback?I mean,I go out of my way to make quick ,smooth transactions,communicate well,leave rating for other individual.Then they just blow you off,it frustrates me.I mean it is just common courtesy.I even drop a friendly reminder and still nothing.If I leave a negative rep then they'll probally just leave you one in response.I guess I just have to let it go or choose not to deal with those people again,I guess. sorry to know your frustrations, it's similar to the real world, but life goes on.. that only proves that we are real people here dealing with each other.

Honestly if i got all the trader rating i deserve through namepros i would easily have around 30 or so. So don't fret if someone does not leave you TR.

I agree.
That is an important part of our transaction.
At the end, it's kinda like the icing on top of the cake!
It should be done to have a 100% complete transaction.
Yeah, it doesnt seem that important to some people,
but ya gotta admit, it is kinda cool to see that # go up one more!
Why dont you pm him again?

Some people believe the seller should go first.
Some people believe the buyer should go first.

I bet he/they are just waiting on you to make the first move.

Honestly i leave TR for transactions in all of my trades or buys through NP as soon as the deal is done. Wether i leave it first or not.

Maybe just send them a quick friendly pm saying that you have left their TR for them and thank them for the transaction. It may jog them into sending yours

Its probably alot more important to people like you/I who aren't up there in the 50+ range.
So the lower you are...the more you want it.
i'm sure there will be a point where you wont care too much more if you get one in return.

But for right now, just pm that NPer and say,

"I left you a positive trader rating.
If you were satisfied,
Could you please do the same for me?
I'm only at 17, and I kinda want to build my reputation up here.
I'd really appreciate it"!

It happens ALL the time to me on Ebay!
Used to really piss me off.
Now, Not too big of a deal.

well sometimes u cant force them to leave u one.
i use to be an online auction seller ..with nearly 2000 transactions completed in that 2yrs but ive only gotten bout 1400 100% Good trader feedback.
I know its bad they dont give us one but it wasnt stated compulsory so its their choice to leave u one or not.

I always leave it even if the other person does not. I think its an important part of growing into the many trusted members we have here :tu: I always look at a persons TR before I deal with them

I have had members send me a short little note saying "Thank You" and something like:

"Thank You .... this was a pleasant transaction and I was happy to add to your trader rating. I hope you do the same for me"

I find these PM's to be a nice way to handle the whole "Thank You", "Contact me in the future", "Keep me on your list" "hope to do business with you again" comments at one time.

Perfectly acceptable.
