i want to clear a doubt
is it ok to reg a .in or .co.in?
is it ok to reg a foreign company name or a product name due to launch or enter in indian market
please clear my doubt

The organisation/institution applying for the domain name must have their office in India. Public Ltd and Pvt. Ltd. companies and Banks can register .co.in domain.

The documents required for the same are a letter on the organization's letterhead stating the orgnization name and the domain name you wish to register. Also a Certificate of Incorporation under Companies Act is required.

what if i dont have any connection to the company
eg - xyz123 has their company or product all over asia and they are due to launch or enter indian market say this year last or next year
so can i reg their company or product name before they launch
