.us Is it me? Or am I really starting to like .us all of a sudden..

Im a huge .com fan at least %90 of my domain names are .com. As they say ".com is king" But as of late i have started finding a great interest in the .us TLD. There are still many great domains left for .us i have regged this beauty today.

There are also many many dictionary words still avilable also. I think the .us TLD will start to grow as a couple of my others have seen a slight increase in traffic over the past couple of months.

What is your TLD of choice? Were do you think the .us market is heading? Do you guys in America search your own CC TLD? or stick to the international .com?

I doubt it is a sudden thing, development in new namespace is growing steadily and gaining momentum, its only a question of time till the old school laggards wake up to this fact.

.COM is no longer a 'must have', artificial scarcity is no longer a condition that will hold value for aging namespace up. Only 10-15% of traffic is type-in, developers today know all too well that type-in is just a very small part of what they must do to get new customers. What is more important is a good and reasonably priced name on the left of the dot, something which .US has in abundance.

Personally, .us and .info are right up there on my favorite tld's list.

I personally have always like .com and I don't think I will change I have it so bad were if I can't find it in .com I don't want it. But just think about it most people when they think of something they think .com so I think .com is best.

I agree... I think .us .tv .info will become the new TLD's for the"States". :imho:
The USA will lose or give up control of the .com .net and .org and will adopt .US. :imho:
Money will move to .TV first as it finds it's home. :imho:

I predict that within the next two years top .us extensions will triple in value. And that’s taking into consideration this year’s selling prices of Meningitis.us for $15,000 and Industry.us for $17,000.

i dont think it is only you ...

i think .com domain are not available that much so people will now start buying .us domains .. and now people more often buy .com and .info rather than .com

so i would say in a year or two .us will have the same rep. as .com
