Is it legal or conflict with CNN?

i own the domain "theinaugurationofbarakobama.com" that i created the day he was President and the CNN make a reporting on it with this title. I made some research on the Net and every trademarks web sites considered that trademark of this domain do not belongs to no one except me as the name relates to an historical event not a mark itself. It would be the same as if anyone tried to process me if i choosen to make a registration of a domain "thedeathofadolfhitler.com" or "howgoebelsbilledtheirentirefamily.com".

Please let me know your opinion.

Nope. Titles alone generally can't be TMed. Furthermore, especially not in the context CNN used it.

Bottom line is don't sweat it. Develop / use the domain as you want.

however let me add to you that SEDO didn´t accept it to be listed there precisely for that reason (trademark conflict). Then, think this is controversial at least for SEDO and other domain web sites.

i will follow your advice and i will develop the parked web site i have on WHyPark as this don´t climed about trademark issues and simply accept it to be developed there.

Sedo is known for finding TMs where there are none.

They also reject political domains.
