Is it good to buy 4 letter domain now?

Hi,

I was actually searching for new domains and found that there are some 4 letter domains waiting to be registered. Domains are like xyg9.com but are 4 letters so what do you suggest to grab them right now?

What's the worth ?

I think more and more of the LLLL.com's are being regged. You could do no wrong in registering a few LLLL.com's with better letters. Just do a search here on the forum for "LLLL.com" and you'll see lots of recent posts about this topic.

4 letter domains yes, but your example xyg9.com no. Stay away from four character .coms that contain a combination of letters and numbers.

There are many available to register still but generally all the good ones have all been taken. If you're thinking of registering QZJX.com or something similar then I would hold onto your money. Generally LLLL.coms containing Qs Zs Xs etc are not worth registering unless they either have some meaning or are easily pronouncable..

a 4 letter domain is good some readable but if not make it brandable a number on it is no longer 4 letter domain but is called 4 character domains already.

LLLL can be a solid investment, but you either have a get a solid name (good letters or pronouncable)...or be patient for the supply to fall near a threshold.

And snapnames is currently showing 1181 LLLL.com domains that "may" be due to drop !

choose your letters wisely If you have the time/patience check to see if they are good acronyms to help improve your chances of a possible sale.

about 100 at least on the 23 rd and then basically every day after !! :hehe:

If you do an advanced search at snap for 4 letter .com with no numbers and no hyphens you will see them all listed - you don't need to log in to do that.

There aint no shortage there thats for sure - keep in mind that some may still end up getting renewed, I doubt it though !

I would never underestimate the potential in any 3, 4 or 5 char domain.

Oh! Forget about 4 character Coms! They are not going to worth even one third reg fee neasrest years! There is still a lot of available LLLLs with one or two letter - that is good investment now.
