Is it bad idea to develop a miss tape domain?

Hello NamePros,

I have got a miss tape domain Barbcue.com, which has 1,900 exact monthly local (US) searches only, and I am thinking to develop a website "all about BBQ". Not sure if that's a mistake to build at miss tape domain. Also, not sure if use a word press. Do you Pros see any potential future in this plan? I will appreciate any opinions, suggestions or comments.

miss type? I think its ok to do it as a learning experience. You will probably not make a regular practice of doing this. I think this name is something that would get some type-ins. Seeing any traffic on it? Looks like you own it a half a year. Goodluck

I was confused with the word miss tape too. Anyway your traffic might be dependent on the number of people who mistypes the word barbecue. However if you decide to pursue then go for it.

You might need to find a very good way to monetize the site.

In my opinion it is not a good option to use this kind of domain name because 80% of these kinds of domains lead to junk websites, questionable website, or typo squatting sites. So this is not beneficial for the internet marketing purpose.
