I've sent a Bunch of emails, and have only had a few responses. Could be because the people I am emailing are simply not interested, or are too major a corporation and are somehow just not spending time to decide if they are interested in my emails. All in all, it's just one tool to help your domaining. I pay $50 a month for the Estibot level I have, and it includes 500 appraisals a day/tools for finding completed Domain sales, and for aiding you in reaching possible end users. You can always Try it for a while and if you dont like it, stop using it

Thanks, I will have a closer look. One thing, it seems like epik does not appraise domains that are already registered, I just tried a few of my own domains

I was testing it for a month and it does speed things up a bit, but in the end, you can find the same info and even more for free.

Also, don't send emails from Estibot servers (a service they offer) because those servers have been flagged for spam.. Was testing and all emails went to spam..

$50 a months X's 12 months = $600 a year to the bot, and then you still have to do more work on your own.

with gd $1.99 coupon code, you could register "301" .com domain names with that money

Geez....

Like everything, if it is more convenient and saves you time, you will have to pay. I have used it off and on over my domaining career. As others have said, you could probably find all of the same information, and you can do 20 free estimates a day on Valuate.com. But for me, my time is worth more than that and i like the convenience. They have a lot more than just appraisals and end user searches. Some of their tools are really useful for dealing with a lot of names. the data parsing and bulk domain checks are useful as an example. I just recently installed their Chrome widget and love it. No more going to their site unless I'm actively doing research. the widget lets me paste names in whenever and wherever i am for a quick snapshot of value, whois and trademark issues, plus more.

I would Refresh it a few times. It seems to work for every tld and most ccTLDs. I never had a problem with it appraising any Domain that I have registered.

It's not really worth it in my opinion because it will harbor your lazy gene lol. When you put in the work learning how to find the end users yourself it will benefit you for as long as you're a domainer and you'll save $50 a month and you'll feel better when the sale does come along too!

After everyone's feedback I don't think I'm going to try it at this point. Maybe later as my career as a domainer develops, but i do need to put in the hard work of finding end users. So I can have the experience and understanding in how to do so. Plus 600 a year is pretty high for work i could do my self but it would be worth it if i was making enough sales to profit from it. Thank you all for taking your time to give me advice.

Good choice! Nice to see someone willing to put in the leg work and learn the ropes rather than take the easy route.

A good rule of thumb to follow;
"never pay for extras you can't afford to take a risk on."

There's nothing like hands on experience. It's the only way to learn imo. I can't read a book and expect to be good at anything. If I take short cuts or let other people do my work I would never learn a thing.I just want to be pointed in the right direction.

Very true, but actually landing sales is another thing all together though! For that you may need lady luck on your side lol.

Some time ago I signed up and it seems a great tool, however, after one month of not seen results I decided to cancell. I have had more success doing individual manual search on Google.
