Are our Founding Fathers burning in Hell? Is the Bush administration headed there as well?

Peter Wallsten of the Los Angeles Times News Service writes:

A new book by a former White House official (David Kuo, Tempting Faith: An Inside Story of Political Seduction) says President Bush’s top political advisors privately ridiculed evangelical supporters as ‘’nuts'’ and ‘’goofy'’ while embracing them in public and using their votes to help win elections.

Take a look at some of these quotes from America’s founders (from the book, Welcome To JesusLand):

Are you sure the best source for this argument is that book?

Not that I am debating the legitimacy of those quotes, as I havn't bothered researching them. HOWEVER, I would not trust "the writers of LandoverBaptist.org (18+)" as a reliable source on anything other than satire.

If you've ever read their site, believe it or not, it's thought provoking to say the least.. the quotes are factual, even if you don't subscribe to the Landover brand of satire and commentary.

I have actually read large portions of their site over the years, and find most of it to be rather humorous. My point simply is that, being satirist, they are not the most trustworthy or appropriate source when making an argument. :)
