Yes...
...Adwords is clearly screwing you.
What did I win?

Conversions can be tough.
People are willing to look, but not so fast to buy.

I dont think google is out to screw you at all. I get alot of traffic on a few of my better domains and zero clicks at sedo. Kinda sorta the same deal imo.

I assume you have some sort of stats program on your server? Even a quick glance at the raw files could tell you if all the AdWords clicks are coming from the same IP band or geographical area and thereby lead to click-fraud being a more likely conclusion (Unless you geo-targeted the area the clicks are coming from.).

I still use Adwords (restarted), but after getting 20 clicks that cost me $1 or so each to one site, and the only visitor that appeared came from a 1xx.xx.xx.__ with only the __ being different each time, I did bitch and moan loud enough for them to finally do something about it (And the site was not targeted at all, and the topic really had nothing to do with the area the clicks were coming from, etc.).

Is it adwords that is screwing you? Probably not (intentionally). Could it be that an adsense user(s) is(are)? Certainly could be. Check your logs and see where your visitors come from and how long they stay, etc.

Seems to me like a sales problem. It's all about conversion rate at that point, the visitors get there but are not sold on whatever product you are offering.

Geotargetting may be a problem

I tend to agree it's mostly a targeting / sales pitch problem ...

Who is the target audience for $7.95 TV subscriptions? ...

What compelling reason would someone have to pay for something they likely can easily get for free ...

Put yourself in the shoes of a surfer who sees your ad - what would it take for you to be convinced? ... then change your sales pitch on your site (I've not seen it) accordingly.

Click fraud, on average, from what I've read, typically tops out around 20% for most advertisers ... assuming that, hypothetically, is true in your instance, then that still leaves over 300 clicks that didn't convert for some reason...

Try some other, perhaps more specific, keywords and/or limit the display of the ad to very specific regions / countries.

Have you read the Google AdWords help forums? ... if not, that's a good starting point.

not necessarily one answer

Depending on what's going on, it could partially be due to aspects of your own site, the wording of your ad, or even keywords chosen. I'd also say that some of it is due to click fraud, since it seems most studies have known click fraud at around 15%.
