iPhones selling on Ebay with bids at $1,500 ?

Is it for real? People just bought iPhones for $600 and they get on Ebay double or more?

Here one auction that is already at $1,500 :

I just c an`t believe some buyers are that stupid. Is it not better to wait few days and get the iPhone in the stores at $600 ? I really don`t get it.

actually this is even crazier: scrolling more auctions I can see buy now prices at less than $1,000 :

Some people hate lines enough they're willing to pay for the privelege of sitting at home and ordering online. And sometimes the new gadgets aren't yet available locally (as in smaller towns)...

sorry...I don`t get it....other then the low feedback and recent joining date on ebay I see no issues, actually the seller even proves to have it with the photo.

Plus anyway, if you browse ebay you`ll find more under $1,000 with buy now prices still under $1,000.

I think it`s just the first few days then as buyers will decrease, prices will decrease too.

Most the people who bid on (iPhones, Zunes, and other US restricted items) eBay arn't from US.

I'd pay $1,500 if the item was restricted to US and I was not. I paid $300 for my zune (Which you can buy in US for about $200)

The same thing happened with pretty much every good electronic ever released.

Saw one on Ebay for $100 000 the other day, but I'm pretty sure there was something fishy going on
