IPB 1.3 still okay?

i was browsing through my other hard drive {tht i havent used for ages} and i happen to find ipb 1.3 final the one tht was given free some time ago...i was wondering if its stil OKAY to use it? since they r not in ipb site anymore and now they sell IPB instead of giving it free

Yes it is used on all the free hosting forum sites without any problems.

It is still ok to use. You can use anything that is 2.0.0 trial and below for free. But you cant use 2.0.0 trial if you didnt have it installed before setptember 2004 or something like that.

I think after 1.3 it is 2.0 trial right?
