It would not be legal for anyone to give it to you, according to Invision Power Services.

You have to have had an active 1.3 forum up at the time Invision Board 2.0.1 went paid, sort of like being grandfathered to the rule, to have it legally.

Just buy the license, you will not be disappointed, plus, you'll get the latest features and security upgrades.

if i had to buy a paid one.. i wud have had bought the license

anyways i will use IPB 1.2 temporarily which is there in my cpanel scripts library.. hope thats legal to use!

1.2 is legal to use...but very unstable.

Just but a copy - you can pick a second hand one up for around $35 on here.
