No marketing or anything- Just parked at Flippa with a make offer page. I think animal .io domains may be getting so many offers lately due to the 4k sale of narwhal.io.

The reason Narwhal.io was bought for $4K is because Narwhale.io is a game with approx 2 million total traffic in August 2016. So probably, someone bought it to capitalize on the type in traffic. If you see - Narwhal.io, it is already parked or maybe the owner of Narwhale.io bought Narwhal.io

Random or meaningless 3 letter.io is not worth much. (For ex: hju.io, xui.io etc etc. Of course there may be exceptions)
Try searching for 3 letter.io domains related to tech/software/game field. For ex: rom.io, lan.io, sms.io, php.io, fly.io. I think most of the good 3 letter.ios are already taken but anyways good luck

Hmm. I think mbv.io is a random 3 letter.io. To be honest, I don't think it has much value. Sorry. But try listing on Flippa. Good luck!

Yup. Since you registered just now. Try holding it for a year. But if you are not able to sell, then drop it. Because the renewal fees for .io domain is quite steep as compared to .com, .net etc.
