Thanks dude,
I know man.
From April 20th to My Last Finalized Sale on May 26th (so a couple days over 1 month) I made $16,750 all on .io sales
Every Sale was Finalized, Domains Transferred and Funds Received.
And just the other day I got a VERY nice offer on Zuckerberg.io
But it's in the no reserve auction right now so can't sell it or it would have been ASAP.
So me and the Guy are talking and trying to work something out before the auction ends.
Only a couple days left on it...
I'm talking to quite a few people about BINS, but would love to go with him if we can figure something out.
I also got offered a little over 3k for prk.io last week, but that thing brings me in a lot of traffic and later I know I can sell it for more.
It's been one hell of a month and I did not approach 1 person to sell any .io's besides the auction I have up, and that is not included in what I made.
They all approached me.
And that is one thing people have to understand too...
There may be only a few marketplaces to sell your .io on, but I have 100's of other methods I use to sell domains, as well as buyers contacting me directly.
So everyone is tossing out Percentages for this, for that and for whatever.
But that is not even the case...
I know someone that sold a .io 2 weeks ago in the xx,xxx range, but it was a private sale, just like many of mine.
And I am networked with some serious .ioers and the sales they make... and the sales I made just last month alone, are all private.
Not everything is Public, and people have to keep that in mind.
To me...
Marketplaces are great... sure.
But in my opinion... those are the basics.
The basic places and the "impulsive" places to "Sell!!!!" whatever online property you may have.
But if you know how to get buyers and use different methods...
The marketplaces eventually are just an "extra" place to sell.
Don;t get me wrong...
They are Great. And I actively use them.
But don't limit yourself when there are really manyyyy other "marketplaces" out there.
So yea man... It's been crazy actually...
I've even had offers for my entire portfolio on my site Webstur.com and the Business itself, so I decided to put the whole thing up for sale, because I have done great with it for only having it a few months.
If that's the case, I am going to be starting a project I have had in mind for a while, and going to JV with 1-2 people to complete it.
And I actually finished Developing (will be adding so much more to it) StockPictures.io
It's Finished right now and has been for a good minute.
But to me... it is not done because I am preparing, developing and creating tons more stuff to make it just thattttttttt much better than StockSnap.io
I mean... StockSnap.io is up there on the top sites online.
It makes very serious money and is extremely popular.
I have StockPictures.io exactly where they are at development wise, but way more user friendly.
So after I am done adding everything else via concepts and more I am creating for it...
I am going to be going crazy advertising and marketing it.
And you are going to hate me for saying this, after telling my last months .io sales...
But when I was making StockPictures.io,
I wasn't developing it on a subdomain or anything.
I was developing it on the actual LIVE Domain lol.
And about a week or so after I was "done".
This team hit me up and said they were WATCHING MY PROCESS OF ME MAKING IT ON A DAILY BASIS LOL
When I read that part... I was awed and laughed sooooo hard lol.
I was like... shit... this company was watching me make this shit... I messed up so many times lol.
I was testing it with pictures of me acting like an idiot n shit lol.
But... I did not laugh when they said, WE WERE WAITING UNTIL YOU WERE FINISHED TO CONTACT YOU REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF THE ENTIRE SITE.
I was like... Seriously dude???
I am going to sell eventually, I am contacted regarding the domain name all the time... but damn... I just finished it and am pumped that I finally get to add my new features ya know.
So I told them it wasn't for sale, soon it will be, blah blah blah....
Then they responded with an offer, which was welllll worth it.
So I made a tough ass decision and I turned them down, because I have some Very High Traffic sites I am going to be advertising on, plus many people I know, as well as my marketing and advertising methods/strategies, plus the new features and concepts I am making for it, and it will soon be worth a hell of a lot more.
So that was a hard decision to make.
Anyways, yea bro... .ios have potential man...
You know it, I know it... and well... some don't.
You just have to be smart about it.
To me... it's for sure in the top of the very few best investments there is right now domaining...
