domain Interest in domain/offer rec'd - female name

Hi,

This appraisal request is in reference to the offer interest/offer I received on a domain (see this this thread ).

I would appreciate any appraisals. I am fully aware that this is not a traditional spelling of the name; but it does get a fair number of google hits. This domain is currently the first that comes up when googling the name - and, yes, the hideous web design is all mine!

The name is Lynd_sie.com -- without the underscore, of course.

As you said that is not the most common spelling. Search volume on that name is low and since .net org info etc are all available, I would ask for mid $xxx and see where it takes you.

I agree; the fact that he is willing to contact you regarding purchasing the name (even though the .net/.org are available) lead me to believe that he is either a scammer or is serious about purchasing the domain.

Either way, it couldn't hurt to ask for mid $xxx. Tread carefully, of course!
