A little clarification on this word. I speak some Spanish, but I'm not a native speaker. The following is my understanding of the word.
Although hembra means "female" in Spanish, Spanish speakers use it a little differently than we use the word "female" in English. If you ask a native Spanish speaker how they use "hembra," they will normally FIRST say it means "female" for animals. However, they will then also say that they might call a newborn girl "hembra" as a term of endearment. It is also used for women when you want to say that she really ... well, HOT - that she possess the body and the essence of femininity in a very bold way. Not necessarily beautiful, but very sexy. They would NOT use it, as we would in English, when filling out a form - for example: Are you Male or Female?
So, even though in some ways it may be less common than the equivalent "female" in English, it is also a word that seems to have a deeper meaning in other ways, and it's a very evocative word in Spanish (much more than the word "female" is in English). Sorry for such a long explanation, but I feel this is important, as a Spanish speaker would immediately understand all these things.
Also - where is the best place to offer a Spanish domain for sale? Any place different from the regular places?
Thanks for any input.
