Ok, i'm in an insane dilemma. My technical partner/programmer has not done a thing in months, forcing me to look for help elsewhere.
My domain www.intelbank.com is currently set up as a forum, but can undoubtedly be so much more than that.
I've had plans to develop several sub sites that cater to:
- Forum integration -> forum is already operational, just needs to be integrated.
- Banking -> I have a complete list of ALL U.S Banks, what i'm looking for is someone to create a searchable DB so that users can get to their local bank and then rate, review, comment on their bank based on certain parameters.
- Financing -> List of best deals for Business, Personal, Real Estate financing. This is mostly a link driven sub site, but should include a rate and comment feature as well.
- Connection Center -> Business, Projects => Similar to MySpace but coined to entrepreneurs.
(While everyone should be able to browse the site and forum, to rate, comment, review a business, bank or Venture capitalist, etc. the user MUST log in.)
- Newsletter feature
- Skin in "Web 2.0" style, taking about 80%-85% of screen width so that the back drop can be utilized for custom advertising.
- and some other features that may be needed and will be suggested by users or eventually even you, the programmer.
I'm guessing that this might be a job for a decent CMS with a custom skin? Joomla or Mambo or any other CMS? Can anyone do this and if so, what's the cost for such a project?
Any and all help is appreciated, even if you're not the guy/gal that can do the job, maybe you know someone that needs a decent project for their portfolio.
This is a serious project with serious subject matter and can easily contribute to a person that is seeking to establish a reputation.
