I have a fabulous bulk account and am very happy with that exc price of .info reg (about $6.85).

Are there any much cheaper places that are as reliable for just .infos?

Thanks

Is $1.99 good price enough? :)

Dynadot.com - $ 2.99*, reliable service.

* First year of new registration only. Additional years, renewals, and transfers are $8.99.

Needs to be same price after initial reg. I think .infos may need keeping for a while.

(Will look into Doe's sig)

There aren't any registrars that offer the same price after initial registration.

There is no way to predict what will be your next year renewal price. Any registrar can increase or reduce prices during a year.

whiz.in had $1.88! rereg ? who cares. if I cant make say $5.00 to pay for its next years reg then it was worth only worth $1.88 to start with!

You can get info registrations as low as 3$

Look. Rereg does make a difference because its a pain to move 'em. I suppose what I should ask is: whats the best place to cheaply reg .info's with a view to bulk moving them after a year?

Everyone keeps posting the first year prices. Aliens from another planet know that godaddy has $1.99 first year .info.

What people are looking for is the cheapest 2nd year price or transfer.

I've never dealt with them but 1and1.com is $6.12 per year including ICANN fee.

1 and 1? No way. I would not register any new domains with one and one for free. The worlds worst. Dealing with them is like standing on dog $hit. They were the company that I had a real pain transferring out of! That dog turd just wont go away.

so probably not 1 and 1! just been rereading my rant!

LOL. OK. I have read a lot of differing opinions about them when I was searching for a
better deal for my dot info names. A lot of comments at both extremes. I think your
post will ensure I avoid them also. My executive pricing at Godaddy is about the same
as yours and I'm happy with it. We've probably got the best prices with reasonably good
service, so why try to fix something that isn't broke;).

I am beginning to agree. Fabulous.com really have made my life so much easier, its just that the pricing balance is quite off with the .infos because they have yet to catch on but there is no discount :(

If there was a rereg that was sig cheaper I would have to consider it.

But please please stay well away from 1 and 1. If there are any premium numbers in domains, 1 is being devalued daily by them.

Godaddy......

You can reg as many years as you want at the price, while the sale is still going on.

Also it's good to keep in mind that wholesale prices for dot info are $6.15 ($6.42
for dot com) so 1and1 is taking a loss on these, I assume, in an attempt to gain
market share and try to make a profit with their other services.

The OP never asked for 2nd year prices and not everyone knows that Godaddy are offering cheap .info's.

It's better to stay away from them. It is another example of Rgisterfly.
