I know the saying goes one mans trash is another mans treasure. What is the real potential of these extensions? Any high ticket resale going on as of yet or would these be exclusively locked to the developement arena..

I have yet to come across one in an index first page.

True - you can't have any LLL.info, but there are plenty of LLL.name are still available. For a site providing tons of informations on a niche market .info is perfectly suited.

I'm a huge fan of the dot info extension, to the point where I would value it above dot net in some situations.

Dot Name is pretty much worthless. I can't think of a situation where I would want to own one. Even my own name I wouldnt' want to own.

These, of course, are just my opinions. :D

I own quite a few .info's including some generics. I happen to like this extension quite a bit.

.info is on a sharp upward slope in terms of general usage, total domains registered, sale prices, and general recognition. Highest sale in 07 was $116,000, I don't know why you would compare it to .name.

.info: treasure in a retail market gold coated kind of way.
.name: free with a packet of cornflakes dross.

Ha ha :sold: I guess under the context, it wouldn't make much sense if I told you I was referring to the British singer. I remember thinking my spelling of "dido" didn't feel right. Nice catch Predator :sold:

Let me go fix that.
