first of all thanks..the free skin was made by somebody else..and it was awesome, but was not suiting my requirement..so i thought to explore php and made the necessary changes I needed.

You have used phpbb default template which is good but it is available with so many forums. If you pick up some other template it will be better.

Color combination need more attention. Also change the color of adsense and make it like ads are just text of site and not ads. This is my personal experience, you will get more CTR.

Also, if you like, put your right navigation in left, as it is more common and your adsense ads are there, again, it will help in increasing your CTR. Rem mix ads with text of site.
