question Increasing Value: Hand Reg

What is the most common way to increase domain value of new HangReg .com domains besides just parking for ads?
(Especially for those that don't really create blogs/sites with them).

Some say that parking can decrease domain value and/or cause issues when it comes to the Ads - can lead to losing the domain? Does this increase or decrease the value for a company/brand that might want to buy?

First of all we have to know definition of hand reg domains...

If hand reg domains are best domains shorted from drop list like ExpiredDomains.net, it can be upgraded by :

- giving logo
- giving good landing page
- giving website on it, and submiting to search engines

At least you and last owner like the same name.

But if hand reg domains are names you guesing in your mind in a view minutes, and there are no other ones like them, there is no way to upgrade this kind of names. You better delete the names if they are still in grace periode from registrar, to get some of registration fee back to buy better names.

Hi

if you were to reg a "future forward" domain, as in a phrase/product/service, etc., that hasn't been conceived yet or known only by a few people -
then add 10 years renewal fee to it and wait until the name hits mainstream and demand is high for those terms.

it's like those who registered .xyz names early and made profits or some like me who regged 3 char. com/4 letter.com and held until value went up.

basically, that's what some of us call, investing.
