Important question regarding backdropping, please respond

Hi,

i have a question about what happens when nobody has made a bid/bought a domain which is in backdrop in tdnam.com. Does it get free to register or do tdnam.com keep it until they have sold it?

ex. if lets say Namepros.com (i wish :gn is expired and listed in tdnam.com and the auction end in 1 hour, what will happen with the domain if nobody has made any bid? will tdnam.com keep it or will it "go free" for anyone to register?

I hope you can help me answer this question as there is one domain i would like, but dont know if i should wait or make a bid. Its not a biggie but a personal for me domain.

i believe it will goto the $5 buy it now bargain bin for 5 days. And then godaddy will drop it. Not sure how long it takes godaddy to drop it tho.

If it is a name you want, paying $5 + $7(coupon) isn't that much. I wouldn't take any more risk than that.

Thanks for your help tzsxc, you were right it went down to 5$.

I think i will wait til they drop it.
