Google AdSense and iMoDo

** IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR LEGACY / GOOGLE ADSENSE USERS **

We have been informed by Google Adsense that they no longer give their unconditional blessing to us serving members adsense code on our legacy templates. We have asked for clarification as to what "exactly" this means and they have replied by saying "each adsense affiliate is assessed on a case by case basis". This is in contrast to their previous stance which gave us written permission for their ads to be displayed on our platform. We therefore strongly advise all legacy members who use Google Adsense on our platform to either seek an assurance from Google that they are individually allowed to use their code at iMODO or to remove the Adsense code from their iMODO account. 1plus.net / iMODO.com will not be held liable in any regard for any loss or damage suffered as a result of Adsense terminating a members account and you use Google Adsense at your own risk.

If we convert all our iMoDo domains from "Legacy Template" to "Premium Template", will that be sufficient to resolve this problem?

Sure.. With our premium platform all domains and users are approved by our Yahoo or Google account manager. Well, not exactly approved but they soon shout if theres a problem. The main difference being that as a premium AFD or Yahoo partner you are treated with a degree of personal attention. They give premium partnership deals to you after a long and drawn out assessment and once youre in, youre in (so to speak)..

With adsense for publishers, you basically have the same level of support as the next man. You cant simply pick up the phone and discuss things.

From our perspective (and were doing this ourselves with our own banner / 1 in 10 page views) we recommend removing your adsense code from our platform or ping Google and ask for clarification. I think it all depends as to where you are in the world. Being AFD google partners as well as showing adsense for publisher banners is maybe the only reason why i have a reply from them.

Im also being PM'd and emailed about other similar 1plus providers and all I can say to you guys is ask your provider yourself, I cant comment on their behalf.

Interestingly enough I'm in New Zealand (Which is diagonally across the Pacific Ocean from North America) yet I get streamic pages for texeyes' domain.

I'm pretty sure it's something specific to this domain though though as budget-footwear.co.uk/ gives me the imodo screens

Kiore, I think you are correct. The austin site is only set up for "Links".

I posted this on Feb. 1st:

"The following is a support ticket I submitted a few minutes ago (2/1/07).

Let's all see how quickly this issue is addressed.

Here is a chance for iMODO to show what kind of customer service it provides.

I will post as soon as I here back from the support team. If it is within a reasonable amount of time I will note that and praise them in this thread:

"I have had no Adsense clicks reported on my 1plus legacy pages since November. My page impressions remain the same as before the ending of clicks according to Google Analytics.

This happened suddenly between 11/20/07 and 11/24/07.

Is 1plus/iModo doing something weird with my Adsense pub-id?

On some Google Blogspot blogs that I have the number or impressions and Adsense clicks are completely normal.

Since people are accessing my 1plus legacy pages and the Adsense ads are showing and relevant to the subject matter why wouldn't I have any clicks for over two months.

The only thing I can think of is the migration from 1plus to iModo having something to do with this.

Help me solve this problem."

Now one week later...No Response from the "Support Team".

I understand that the people in charge want us to use the support ticket system as opposed to this thread when there are problems or issues but they should not be upset if we follow their instructions, get no support and then complain in this thread.

If I (as a trying to be patient iMODO user) am out of line please let me know.

I think that the Imodo people somehow has forgotten that keeping people in the dark creates more problems than when you come out and tell people what is going on. I for one is tied of Imodo isuues and at this point, I am not in anyway encouraged to take my domains back to Imodo.
