The site goes live on November 4th according to what -RJ- said so I would wait until then to apply and then send either Badger or -RJ- a PM about getting the acount approved. That is probably your best bet for getting accepted.just wondering said:hi , can you set me up a account , i've got around 100 names , please p.m if possible with account details...thanksit looks gooooooooood.

Rightly, they are tentative with regard to allowing their feed to be used (certainly in the initial stages) so unrestrictively. So, for certain traffic, we are redirecting visitors to a flat google adsense feed.
When we open the program to all in early 2008, it is intended that the entire platform will be yahoo served..
Question: Does this mean that for some period of time non-US ip addresses will see the normal Premium page and US/CA ip's will see the partner parking pages?-RJ- said:Arbitrage will not be available initially because US traffic is being redirected to a partner parking page. Once iMODO is able to serve the same developed sites to both USA and World traffic, you will be able to promote the sites as regular sites, PPC included.
Correct. US traffic will see a more traditional style parked page served by Streamic. It should fit the same style and theme as the regular iMODO pages, but without the content features. This is a temporarily solution to restrictions Yahoo has imposed. iMODO has authorization to serve content and ads to every country except US and Canada.harkster said:Question: Does this mean that for some period of time non-US ip addresses will see the normal Premium page and US/CA ip's will see the partner parking pages?-RJ- said:Arbitrage will not be available initially because US traffic is being redirected to a partner parking page. No, don't believe so.Question: Does that prohibit us from editing the templates and/or upload new names that will use a Premium template?

Badger said:For our launch phase one: Were accepting 1plus and namepros members who meet a certain criteria. Were also inviting others of whom we know.
For our launch phase two: The program will be extended to others but we will always ensure we know of whom our users are before we let them in.
Sorry if this doesnt work for some of you, but parking has changed, I think its time the good guys were no longer penalised as a result of the few that are bad.
A lot of the time weve spent in development has been to build what weve called "domainalizing" click protection.. Our PhD level techs have built this with advice and help from the guys at Yahoo and Google. This ensures we are better informed as to who is clearly breaking the rules on our platform. However, there is no greater protection than actually knowing the people youre in partnership with in the first place.
Sufficed to say, if you're a good guy then we want you on board, in return we will ensure your earnings dont slip because of the actions of others..

So, again my question on top which didn't get answered. Will the program be supporting IDNs = non-US based traffic?
It's automatic.rickkumar said:Some questions:
1. Will 1plus.net account holders automatically convert in to imodo.com account holders or do they need to reapply?
Yes, all accounts will be transitioned over.1A. If yes to above, so will the system be ready on Nov 4th to handle conversions of all the 1plus.net members to iMoDo? I am planning to test and if your performance exceeds others, then I may move 1000s of domains to iMoDo.
It's comparable.2. Based on your test, how does the revenue performance compares to established players such as DomainSponsor, TrafficZ, etc?
Testing is still in progress, it's it a bit early to report. The content based landing pages worked well with 1Plus.net. The same should apply to iMODO.3. Do you see a traffic increase in your tests? If yes, what kind of increase?
There won't be much we can do to avoid this as things are now. Any sites using non-original content can't expect too high of search engine rankings.4. How are you planning to avoid the issues/penalties for duplicate content by the search engines?
Varon said:Badger, a few questions. I see a Yahoo content feed rather than a Yahoo feed for domains or search. From my knowledge, the Yahoo content feed pays less. Secondly, as time progresses, with content feeds there are bound to be many non paying links..more like dead links. The most important point being, content feeds could be great for domains that receive less traffic, but once you have a portfolio which receives high traffic, both Google and Yahoo are bound to step in and block certain traffic, resulting in lower CPC.
What are your thoughts on this? Or are your feeds going to be non content feeds from both Yahoo and Google?
-RJ- said:Non-US based traffic - yes, absolutely. In fact overall it's preferred over US based traffic at this point since we have a better ad feed to serve non-US based traffic.
I don't have an answer about IDN's at this point. I'll try to find out.

Planned features will counteract this by allowing for user and domain owner generated content, giving the search engines more unique content to index What you're seeing now from iMODO is a very basic version of what you'll be seeing 6-12 months from now.

Badger said:There will be no back filled content on the platform. What you are seeing is again, still an unfinished product.
Better still, in the event we detect a "no return" for ads, were seamlessly redirecting visitors to an identically themed google served parking page.
