iMac g-crash!

Hi,

I just networked my imac G3.

Its specs are;

233Mhz
4GB hard drive
128mb RAM
Mac os 9.2

The reason i am bothering to post this, is because it crashed when i attempted to load namepros.com/chat.php.
The java application probably is the cause, but i thought i would try it anyway.

I would get a screenshot of it, but i have no clue on how to use screenshot on it. I am using my laptop to post this message, because i dont like using internet explorer 5.5. Seems a bit dangerous to me.

How could i update the java on my iMac G3? Note the operating system is older than os x, so all updates for that wont work.

Just a thought, Java eats up a lot of processing power - are you sure that processor is powerful enough?

I think my imac couldnt cope with such a big application. I am formatting my laptop at the moment, and i am currently using my iMac G3 to write this message. Man, i love this old bit of kit, and to think i was going to chuck it out a window...

Does anyone here still use the old iMac G3. I cant personally stand the lack of software support for it, but i think for simple web browsing, it works a charm.
