I'm on the hunt again for a web hosting company

I am currently with liquidxhost, they have had great customer service in the past, and a reliable service. I don't have a problem with them except for the pricing. They cost 4.99 a month and I have 4 accounts with them and need another which is getting pricey.

Do any of you use HostFlv.com?

They look to have a GREAT price structure, but I'm afraid of getting what I pay for

What I'm looking for is a good hosting service for a cheap price. I'll be using MSQ, PHP normal stuff that comes with a basic package.
I don't care if support is done by email or phone.

I think that you'll get better advice if you post your requirements - CMS, the level of support you need, applications to use and etc. You can also say how do you want to get support- on the phone or through support tickets.

I've not heard of both companies you're referring to, but I can say that as a general rule, opting for super low prices for a large (or 'unlimited') amount of resources is a risk if your primary aim is to get proper service, reliability and performance. For $4.99/month, most hosts can get you a decent amount of resources including multiple domain support; so you don't have to sacrifice quality for your pricing range if your app requirements are reasonable.

Depends on your needs - for basic hosting I am happy with webair, $9.90 month for virtual server (managed, cpanel). I have about 30-40 sites there with 15 sql databases, and support is ok. And you can get ssh access upon request.

Yeah, I might have to go Dedicated Server.
I have four accounts now thats costing me $20.00 a month.
and each of those accounts have about 15 subdomains
So if I go dedicated, do all domains look like they are at their main, instead of under another.

Yeah. The only difference is that you would be paying $150 per month.

- Why do you have 4 accounts?
- Are you running out of disk space or bandwidth? ( their plans have unlimited domains )
- Why are you using subdomains? not addon domains?

If you can describe the nature of your sites and the space bandwidth requirements of your accounts you will get better help from our experienced members. Even there is option to select a VPS if your requirements are with in its limits.

All You need is a Reseller hosting account. I dont see why go dedi for about 15-30 small sites.
