There is MANY copyright violations attached to doing such a thing. If your thinking for personal use I suggest hulu.com

That is not easy stuff for the web hosting account or reseller account. I believe that yopu need to have VPS server for that or dedicated at least

You can have it from santrex.net - the company offers NSV streaming accounts so that it would be possible to host your tv there, also the company allows any legal types of content so you may not worry about prohibitions. I suppose you would be glad to see how low their prices are.

A slingbox does stream over the internet. You hook your home cable or sat into it and you can watch tv from home over the internet from anywhere in the world. My bro got a slingbox and was able to watch NFL from China on a big projector screen.
