I have seen quite a few registered lately, has anyone got any comments on these names. What if there was a good keyword name, is it worth grabbing.


I believe its the Isle Of Man, but are people possibly going to use the "Instant Messaging" acronym for these domains??

Anyone know of any developed .im?

I think there is alot of brandable potential on the .im extension.

Nice name chat.im... I see so much brandable usage with .im for domains like that.
Sort of like a .me, but I'm hopIng we see more sites developed to help the extension grow!

Chat.im and Messenger.im was sold by the same guy to Yahoo! The guy told me Yahoo! used disposable email addresses and after the deal was completed he came to knew the buyer was Yahoo!

I have tried contacting Yahoo! for couple of my domains Free.im and Download/Downloads.im which can be good for their messenger download site but they never responded back.

I use DomainMonster because they charge $7.99 for new registration and same price for renewals.

Just afraid in investing in these domains.. I saw many good keyword domain unsold, expiring, etc.
Although I am going to buy few because I personally like the extension.
