OP Here. Correct. I was not asking for advice. We are getting the varying answers that I was thinking we would get. I'm enjoying this thread and the answers that we are getting.

I mean, if he's only got $10, I don't think he should be domaining at all... Lunch first, dinner second, domains another day. IMHO, anything you do with just $10 is purely speculative and you better have another $10 next year to renew.

Maybe @CJ6 could tell us if he literally only has $10 to invest... or if he was posing a theoretical challenge trying to discern where folks were looking to put some cash -- like a more creative way of doing the "what buyout is next" post, without saying it that way.

I would look for a brandable .com. Maybe 5 or 6L. Submit it to brandbucket, hope that it gets accepted then flip it here for quick profit.

I thought it was $10 if it gets accepted? If so, you're over budget.

... Or do you mean get it accepted, but not actually accept the accepting and then flip it while acceptation is pending there?

Get it accepted then flip it here. Don't pay $10 to list it. Unless you want to wait for end user and make some real money. But for quick flip, auction it here.

It's the safest bet among all.
There are 122 million .com registrations. There must be some reason behind it.

Wow... I just have to say this is one of the deepest responses to a "what would you do with $10" post. I was not emotionally ready or expecting it as I read down through. You can't just be dropping philosophical bombs about overall investment strategy in posts about using $10.
... Just sayin'.

As for me, I actually did reg a few LLLL.biz today because, well, why not. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Domainers are tight wads, I offered my ebook for free for about two years, over 500 downloads (from memory) and not one thank you, put a token $1.99 on it and not one sale, plenty of sample downloads but just for fun I will make free again for a week .......maybe it's just crap, This was done a few years ago with an update last year. It's not about the 10$/amount you have, it's about your research/data and ability to identify a good investment. (not to mention sale skills if wanting to maximize or speed up sales)

Some people have the gift to turn 10$ into 100$ and that 100$ into 100,000$ and so on.
