If your content is not unique, will you face hard time in better SERPs even if you get backlinks from high PR sites? Is content really the king? I have a website where I have uploaded free to re-publish articles and it has even got good PR but no traffic from SE yet.

This seems simple enough, but many struggle with finding the words or topics needed to fill pages of text. A common solution to this problem is to outsource the content to professional writers.



Another common solution is to find well-written articles on applicable topics and rewrite them. To avoid the duplicate content filters and penalties, at least 30% of the rewritten content should be unique. Of course, the higher the unique percentage, the better off the material will be.



However your unique content is created, it is crucial that you obtain it. An otherwise excellent website will flounder if content is not appealing to visitors or search engines. It seems after all these years, the pen remains mightier than the sword.

I think the trouble is that your site will be placed in Google's supplemental index. Not a very good situation.

But seriously folks, content is king, and unique content is without a doubt going to increase its value. I think if you look at the history of popular sites you will see exactly what I am talking about. It really is not that difficult to aquire unique content if you write your own articles and you know what you are talking about and you say it in your own words, or you know someone that can.

If you did your content yourselа it must be unique. And I think yiou shouldn't worry about that. And also you can prove SE that your content is unique

Sadly, although we hear the words, it is still not really happening. Links is still the king here, especially for Google. If you want your "completely duplicate content" page to get out of supplemental index, just make sure you have a lot of quality links pointing to it.

Content is still the king. Unique ones of course. That's why you don't have to use the 3rd party ariticle feeds.

Not anymore now Google is going to be hard on paid links, so if you used to buy links for improving your PR, you'd better stop this practice, as you may find yourself penalized.
