IDN Domains becoming more popular/valuable?

I've been seeing a ton of IDN domains being auctioned off because they display short character codes when translated. I was just wondering what the NamePros community feels about IDN's and if they possess value or not.

They have been around for so long, but they don't seem to be popular.
Perhaps in some foreign markets, but I doubt.

yes.. Single letter / word IDN fetch upto 5 figure sales in last month from china / korean people but it doesn't have any value more than $50 max in Namepros .IMO.
