Could be a fake bid. I can't honestly believe it's legitimate.

It's certainly a very high bid... But it's a great name for a video gamer...

PK= Player Kill

ideal player kill... Kinda cool I guess. Not really for 99k though :o

definitely fake..
I don't know why, but i see lots of those. A bunch of auctions with high reserve and totally crappy domains, but have all one bid :-/

It's crap like this that makes sedo look bad... I think everyone here knows that nobody would bid that much, but if they did, no seller would send it to auction after finding someone simple enough to bid that amount.
It's fake, it should be embarrassing to the owner.

Wow, you're the only other person I've seen who connected "PK" to Player Kill. Not sure it has a whole lot of commercial value for that use, but being the admin of a large MUD I made sure to get Aardwolf.PK :)

I actually turned down a $500 offer for "Blue.pk" a few months ago. Countered 750 and buyer closed the negotiation, but that's the chance you take. Overall, I've done better by hundreds of % difference in negotiating offers vs accept any decent offer that comes along.

You have to put in a bid in order to put it to auction. Obviously Sedo are not policing what goes to auction. Shame on them. They have to now chase up an non-existing buyer making much more work for themselves.

I want all your dubai names and I will trade this one for it. No, I don't own it, but I will STILL trade it for all your Dubai domains.

Maybe, maybe :)

:| I too feel that it is a fake bid.

Another reason: why would a bidder bid like 98,999 on his first bid? This strategy is used in marketing especially in Retail pricing. Example: .com for $ 7.99 :snaphappy:
