I sold a domain and..

need to push it to another account.
the domain is at godaddy.
how can i do it?

If the domain your trying to push it to is another godaddy account then follow these steps....

1.click on the white box next to the name to push

2.Click towards the top on "account change"

3.Fill in the information provided by the person your transfering to.

4.Click ok when done, and ok again.....

5.The other person will get an email with an auth code to collect the transfer and thats it!

if your talking about transfering a domain from godaddy to another reg OTHER then godaddy im not sure....also remember it MUST be 60 days from the time you got that name BEFORE you can transfer out of godaddy.

When you select a domain, there's a toolbar at the top, one of the options reads "account change". You need to fill some data. The most important part here is the new owner's email.

firstly, congrats on the sale.

as for pushing the domain, go to your domain management screen after logging in, and there will be a link to "transfer your domain". click this, fill out the details, and GD will automatically notify the new owner to accept the domain transfer.

it's important to make sure that you have the new owners email address as this is where GD will send the transaction code.
