I agree, but I would leave out the "by far" to that IF developing plans are in it's future.

As for type in's, iphones.mobi will obviously get the lions share of traffic. I really think that SE's have a great chance at owning the mobile world, and if you factor in SE's seem to ignore the hyphen in .com's....well, that should bode well for i-phones.mobi 's SE placement... if it's developed.
If you plan to just park your hyphen and hope to get type ins...good luck!
